Are cheetahs often robbed of their kill?

Their slight build, small teeth and timid disposition make cheetahs very vulnerable to attacks by other predators, and they are often robbed of their kills by lions, hyenas and leopards. In the Kruger Park cheetahs lose 14% of their kills to spotted hyenas. This may be one of the reasons why the majority of their hunting is done during the day when other predators are mostly inactive. Jackals usually avoid cheetahs because cheetahs are fast enough to catch them.
